What’s happening with Fairfax County budget discussions?

The CWES PTA encourages its members to keep informed on the Fairfax County budget planning process and potential impacts to our school and educational programs -- and to participate in the planning process.

Although the County budget "discussion sessions" ended November 13, residents can still weigh in by offering comments online at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/government/budget/ or by e-mailing your ideas to tips@fcps.edu or to the School Board (see http://www.fcps.edu/schlbd/members.htm). You can view the current Fairfax County Public Schools budget (FY 2009) at http://www.fcps.edu/fs/budget/documents/index.htm and other relevant information (such as the budget calendar) at http://www.fcps.edu/news/fy2010.htm.

The PTA School Store is open for business Tuesday mornings 8:45-9:05 am in the Canterbury Woods lobby. The store sells school supply items and knickknacks and is a self-supporting service of your PTA! If you’d like to help volunteer
